What you'll need To qualify for this role, you need to be a FAIS-approved Compliance Officer for Category I and Category II with at least 5 years of experience in compliance, risk, or legal roles within the financial services sector. You need to have a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks such as FAIS, CISCA, FICA, and POPIA, along with strong project management skills and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for success in this dynamic role. You also need to have completed RE 1 and RE 3.
