IR Consultant - Pretoria

Minimum requirements:
  • LLB degree or equivalent in Law would be highly advantageous
  • 2+ working experience within the same or similar role dealing with the CCMA
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with employment legislation and regulations in South Africa

Duties will be, but are not limited to:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on labor law matters to clients
  • Represent clients in CCMA proceedings, including conciliation, mediation, and arbitration
  • Assist clients in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Conduct investigations into workplace disputes and grievances
  • Develop strategies for resolving labor disputes and minimizing legal risks for clients
  • Keep abreast of changes in labor legislation and provide updates to clients as necessary
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive HR and legal solutions
  • Prepare and present training sessions on labor law topics for clients and internal staff
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client cases
