IR OFFICER - Johannesburg
We are ecstatic to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team as an Industrial Relations (IR) Officer. We believe that fostering positive relationships between management and employees is not just a task; its a cornerstone of our success. As an IR Officer you wont just be handling grievances; youll be shaping the very fabric of our organization Grade 12 with Labour Law or HR qualification or equivalent Minimum 3 - 5 yrs. Labour Relations experience essential with extensive exposure to CCMA, Conciliation, Arbitrations, unions etc. Proven experience in managing the delivery of personnel services to a workforce in excess of 100-200employees. Experience within the distribution and logistics sector will be an added advantage. Registration with a professional body would be advantageous. Facilitate disciplinary enquiries, appeals, grievances and CCMA cases. Advise employees and management on disciplinary processes and procedures. Attend CCMA when required on conciliation and Abitration. Assist with the documentation for Abitration. Liaise with Union officials and representatives when required. Co-ordinate all external referred disputes ie. Labour Court, CCMA. Arrange and collate background information on disputes. Conduct preliminary investigations and compile background reports for submission to Bargaining Council. Research relevant case law, liaise with labor experts and compile case reports in preparation of disputes for either arbitration or CCMA. Ensure formal engagement between labour and employer for purposes of consultation and negotiation. Give advice to Management, staff and unions on labour related matters and evaluate policies and procedures in line with labour legislation.
