Mouton Citrus, a leading and integrated South African citrus producer, packer, and marketer, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join their team. Responsibilities: This position is primarily focused on water systems support and maintenance. It is a practical role that strives to maintain the system reliability and functionality, with insight that the success of the irrigation system is the primary cornerstone for overall production excellence. The job will include, but is not limited to the following: Hardware Installation Pumphouse and in-field inspections Scheduled maintenance Operator support and training Troubleshooting Breakdowns repairs Sensor calibration Which are relevant for the following areas: Hardware: Pipes, Valves, Filters, Flow meters, Pumps, Seals etc. Automation: Radios, Mottech (Basic), Solenoids etc. Electrical: Motors, VSD's (Basic), Contactors, Breakers etc. Requirements: A relevant qualification Relevant and proven experience, preferably some water/irrigation knowledge Ability to respond to emergencies as and when needed Computer Literacy, including Excel Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness and ability to work and prosper within a team environment Self-motivated, driven, resilient and humble By Submitting your information and application you hereby confirm: That you have read and understood our Privacy Policy ( www.hopcal.co.za ).
