Reference: HC003068-Moipo-1Job Tittle: IT Asset and Configuration Manager Job Purpose: Consolidate, track, and manage physical and contractual aspects of IT assets throughout their lifecycles. Ensure licensing conformance for software and systems aligns with respective license contracts. Support IT service delivery and mitigate financial or penalty risks related to asset management. Job Duties: Results Delivery: Provide accurate information on IT asset status and lifecycle through reports. Ensure conformance to licensing agreements. Uphold IT asset management policies and procedures. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build strategic relationships within client environment and external networks. Identify stakeholders' IT asset needs and maintain sustainable relationships. Collaborate with IT and business departments for service improvement. Process Management: Manage licensing procurement, renewal, and conformance processes. Educate stakeholders on licensing status and financial implications. Apply ITIL framework and software asset management principles. Self-Management: Seek personal development aligned with JSE objectives. Promote teamwork and adhere to JSE values. Act as a self-starter and contribute to divisional objectives. Education and Experience: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology. ITIL Foundation Certificate, IT Asset Management Foundation Certification. Preferred certifications: CHAMP, CSAM, CAMP, ServiceNow administration. 5-8 years' experience in IT Asset Management.
