IT Business Analyst - Central Johannesburg

Role Purpose Analyse, document and update business requirements for product processes, procedures and systems. Qualifications and Experience Minimum Qualification Relevant Degree in BSc Information Systems, BCom Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, BBusSc or related Experience 4-8 years’ experience in a technical business analysis environment Knowledge Required Basic understanding of developing business casesKnowledge of data analysis and interpretationIn depth understanding of financial data and banking information systemsExpert knowledge of Excel and AccessExperience with development and interpretation of reportsStrong knowledge and use of design process tools (e.g. Visio, Firstmap)Experience in documenting and implementing complex and/ or multiple projects/ initiatives in line with business vision and strategyMust have experience in BRS and FRS Responsibilities Participate in conceptualisation, design and planning of projects for product house, business unit or segmentContribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness, and report on variancesContinuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriateProvide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertiseDevelop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make organisational improvementsEnsure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processesCompile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisionsProduce high quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standardsFocus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectationsBuild working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovationPrevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costsImprove efficiencies by reviewing assigned business processes to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks Please note that by submitting your personal information to Deka Minas you free-willingly issue the business consent to make use of such data for the specific purpose of securing you either permanent or temporary employment.
