Salary : R55 000 per month.

About the role: The role involves managing Microsoft systems such as MS System Center, Mobile Device Management, Software Deployment, and providing end-user support. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure systems, a deep understanding of Microsoft System Center and device management technologies, IT Security, IT service delivery (ITIL), and project handling in large international companies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • At least five years equivalent work experience as an IT Infrastructure Analyst
  • Experience working within international teams
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
  • Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to conduct technical researches and market analysis
  • Good time- and self-management

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include ensuring technology is in line with user expectations, contributing to Group IT projects, providing third-level support, and supporting end users.

  • Ensure that all systems supported by Workplace Services are operational and maintained;
  • Monitor IT solutions within the area of responsibility;
  • Report and troubleshoot problems as required;
  • Apply regular updates and patches, as required;
  • Create documentation, procedures and policies in relation to the areas of responsibility;
  • Establish a good working relationship with peers and other business players;
  • Guide staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or virtually;
  • Create Dashboards and Reports;
  • Check market trends and analyse potential improvements within the area of responsibility.
