IT Environment Manager - - Central Johannesburg

Responsibilities: • Build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders displaying excellent abili6es to ini6ate dialogue listen advise influence and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes. • Initiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are delivered. • Preserves relationships despite airing conflicting views and seeks mutual gains when addressing conflicts. • Anticipates consequences and adapts problem solving based on continual feedback. • Act speedily to resolve problems queries and complaints. • Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences. • Research and identify ongoing issues and trends. • On request from any stakeholder work with relevant parties to provide oversight and support regarding changes to an application. Once the change has been finalised deploy into the testing environment. Support and oversee the testing of the change. Once signed off deploy into the live environment and provide ongoing monitoring and support. During the process resolve communicate and as required escalate any issues or bottlenecks that arise. • Ensure that changes are deployed in a controlled manner in accordance with relevant regulations policies and procedures. • Monitor the application to ensure it performs optimally within acceptable parameters. Investigate diagnose resolve and or appropriately escalate problems. Provide clients with second-level support. Ensure applications are maintained according to governance risk and security protocols and procedures. • Handle stress in ways that do not negatively impact others. Plan and manage own workflow, anticipating obstacles, juggling priorities and following through on objectives within agreed time-frames and according to quality standards. The candidate will be responsible to test all developmental tasks in accordance with Business Requirements received from a Business Analyst. Must be able to analyze and translate business requirements into test scenarios. Excellent written, oral, and exceptional interpersonal Communication skills. Be able to learn quickly, adapt to change and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Team player and Self-starter. Executing test cases and analyzing test results. Understanding of testing concepts i.e., testing methodologies and techniques. Excellent time-management skills and an ability to adhere to deadlines. Providing progress feedback in daily stand-up meetings. Conceptual thinking and Detail-Oriented Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Business Computing. 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior specialist level Key deliverables: Functional, Regression, Integration, End to End, and User Acceptance Testing: Planning testing in a timely manner to ensure requirements are met and signed off. Plan, design, execute and ensure correct documentation of test cases. Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a technical environment. Performing manual execution of the test cases within all test cycles (Unit, System Integration, UAT, Regression) and using intuition to automate where possible. Results & goal driven.
