To manage Networks, Server, security, and Workstation infrastructure performance at required levels at all times. Network Support Provide Technical Support on WAN and LAN Oversee the security infrastructure and ensure all configuration complies with recommended security practices. Oversee all LAN and WAN Operations and provide detailed reporting. Network architecture Develop designs for infrastructure remediation and changes across the enterprise Provide strategic design decisions for network, server, cloud, security, and other infrastructure-related initiatives. Server Support Provide technical support on all Commercial and Production systems Oversee all Commercial and Production systems and provide detailed reporting Desktop support Provide technical support on all workstations Oversee the Help Desk and provide detailed reporting PABX Support Provide technical support on the PABX system Oversee all the PABX system and provide detailed reporting Cloud Platform Support Oversee support and configuration of cloud platforms Provide technical support on cloud platforms Projects Oversee all infrastructure projects Manage all projects – tasks, deliverables, documentation, and stakeholder communications Change requests and Service Management Ensure all change requests and incident logging are accurately completed Ensure all service requests and incidents are attended to and resolved within SLA Develop and manage the service catalogue Review and re-align service levels to ensure optimum resolution of critical issues. Engage with the service desk provider and ensure correct reporting on all issues logged. Security Ensure that all access requests are completed correctly Provide detailed reporting on access requests Provide for access control reviews by system owners Compliance and Standards Engage with risk and internal audit regularly and ensure all audit information and reports are compiled and delivered accurately. Develop organizational IT policies and procedures and modify existing ones as requirements change. Qualifications National senior certificate NQF Level 7 3 year degree / Advanced diploma in Information Technology (BSC) is essential Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in Network Support is essential 3 years’ experience in Server Administration is essential 3 years’ workstations (Help Desk) experience is essential Competencies Code B, Motor vehicle license is essential Computer literacy Advanced server hardware configuration and administration Advanced desktop operating systems Advanced network configuration and diagnosis Advanced windows server configuration and administration Advanced network security configuration and administration Cloud platform knowledge – O365, Mimecast, and hosted PABX, amongst others.
