Experience
The successful incumbent must possess at least five (5) years experience working as an IT Manager experience within the mining industry will be beneficial.

Formal qualifications

• Valid driving license code 8
• Own transport
• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Valid medical certificate (Underground and or Surface dependent upon the inherent requirements of the position)
• Proven experience in IT management roles.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions and enhancements
• Performing routine system audits
• Running routine system operations reports
• Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages
• Managing and reporting on the IT budgets allocation
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals
• Ensure the availability, security, and integrity of data and systems
• Ensure that vendor solutions meet organizational requirements and service level agreements.
• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
