Reference: PTA000502-CN-1Looking for an IT Manager in MidrandThis roll entails managing of an IT team in Midrand. Responsible for the IT infrastructure and software for 140 retail stores nationally and Head Office. You will be responsible for managing external software developers and driving Dev-Ops topics. Hands on IT skills is a must. Qualifications and Experience Required Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification Minimum of 10 years proven experience in an IT role with 5 years managerial experience Sound working knowledge of Linux, Cloud and Database administration Experience and sound understanding of the following principles that are essential for this role: Microsoft: Operating System Support – All Desktop and Server platforms Office 365 Support SharePoint Exchange Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP MYSQL VMware ESX JAVA Linux VMware Site Replication SAN Storage Project Management qualification (Prince II / PMBOK / Diploma) Sound business acumen A valid driver’s license Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Work in close partnership with the Group Executives in full support of the strategic IT and business objective for the Group Participate in the development of IT strategies collaboration with the leadership team Develop, maintain, support, and optimize key functional areas, including but not limited to: Network infrastructure Server infrastructure Cloud infrastructure and services Database infrastructure Supporting data communications Telecommunications systems Effectively develop, plan, implement and maintain IT infrastructure strategies, architecture, policies, and procedures R50 000 - R60 000 - Monthly
