Position Overview:

Our client is on the hunt for an experienced IT Manager to steer their information technology framework and systems. The chosen candidate will manage their IT realm, encompassing hardware, software, network, security, and telecommunications facets. This role demands a proactive strategist adept at orchestrating IT projects, supporting team members, safeguarding data integrity, and deploying technology solutions tailored to their evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

- Spearhead the architecture, deployment, and upkeep of their IT infrastructure, ensuring system robustness, scalability, and security.

- Monitor system performance, resolving issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functioning.

Systems Administration:

- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access, while installing and maintaining essential software applications.

- Craft and uphold system documentation, promoting operational excellence.

Security and Compliance:

- Establish and enforce stringent IT security protocols, conducting regular assessments to pre-empt vulnerabilities and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Address security breaches with swift forensic analysis and corrective measures.

Technology Planning and Strategy:

- Foster a volunteer-driven IT team ethos, championing cost-effective tech solutions.

- Offer strategic IT insights to propel organisational growth, aligning technology roadmaps with their mission.

User Support and Training:

- Deliver exceptional technical support and troubleshooting issues to ensure a seamless operational flow.

- Develop comprehensive training sessions, enhancing user proficiency in IT tools and practices.

Event Specific:

- Ensure the reliability of event communications infrastructure, leveraging cutting-edge technology to bolster event success.

- Engage in innovative tech applications, enhancing communication channels for event efficacy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science, with additional certifications favourably considered.

- 5+ years in IT management, preferably within a non-profit or community-focused setting.

- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems administration.

- Exceptional leadership and project management process.
