Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Officer to join our team in Bellville.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and control the full IT infrastructure.
Desktop support.
Maintenance of all software applications and related infrastructure.
Network maintenance and support for all offices including firewall, telephony and internet.
IT Asset Management.
IT Risk management and upkeep of IT policies and procedures.
Implementation of IT training protocols.
Information Systems security management.
Drafting new and maintaining of software and hardware infrastructure in all regions and divisions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Administrator, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT security principles.
Hands-on experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), and server technologies.
Proficiency in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing IT issues.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) will be an advantage.
