Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer ( Advanced) - Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation. COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE South African citizens/residents are preferred. Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience ITIL certification (advantageous) ITIL process knowledge and work experience (Required) Minimum 6 Years experience in an operations environment ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Deep ITSM knowledge Experience in IT-Operations Understanding and master PIC processes AGILE Project Management knowledge and work experience Experience in administrating Windows and Linux OS (client / server) Thorough knowledge of Linux and Linux commands Understanding of IT Infrastructure and relations between components License services, administration, and management Software administration (e.g., software lifecycle/deployment) Software License Management, installation updates. FLEXLM knowledge Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) charter. ADVANTAGEOUS TECHNICAL SKILLS System management experience (e.g., ansible) Experience with containerisation software (e.g., docker) Experience with public and private cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google) ROLE: Administration and Monitoring of license services incl. all server and triades, both Linux and Windows License service upgrades Client license tracking Documentation of all processes/configuration (e.g., act toolchain, CMDB, ResolveIT, SAM) Lead of operation meetings Coordinate external contractors Support and consulting license supplier (logs, test, new releases.)
