Requirements

Solid experience in IT procurement, asset lifecycle management, licensing, and customer service
Matric plus an appropriate tertiary qualification with 3 years relevant experience
Relevant IT certifications, e.g. Microsoft licensing (SAM) or similar certifications an advantage
Demonstrate experience in procurement, contract management and negotiations
Experience and knowledge with subscription and cloud licensing models

Duties and Responsibilities

Procurement

Overall accountable and responsible for IT asset and licensing procurement, vendor engagements, price negotiations and contracts management.
Adherence to the procurement policy and process at all times
Ensure streamlined operation of the administration and procurement needs in alignment with the business objectives of the organisation
Provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities

IT Asset Management

Accountable and responsible for the management of lifecycle for service assets (hardware, software, intellectual property, licenses, warranties and contracts) including inventory, compliance, usage and disposal
Ensure optimisation of the total cost of ownership and sustainability
Knowledge and use of international standards for software asset management and close integration with change and configuration management
Overall accountable for asset and procurement recordkeeping, audit, reporting and establishment of suitable contracts

Financial and Contracts Management

Assist CTO in reporting and analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Ensure all relevant services are appropriately supported that includes contract creation, execution and analysis
