IT Support - AS 400 Operator - Johannesburg
Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Executing the daily operations on the AS/400.
- Performing and managing backups using BRMS.
- Stock control
- Review of daily processes and runtimes of jobs on the AS/400.
- Monitor and report on status of environmental controls in the data centre.
- User account queries on the AS/400 and help desk tasks (user support).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- AS400 operating skills 2 years minimum (Shift work).
- Good knowledge of iSeries Systems.
- Prior IBM BRMS (Backup Recovery Media Services) experience.
- Prior HMC and console experience.
- Own transport essential.
