IT Support Technician/East London
Position Summary:
Desktop Support for dealing with day-to-day tickets and call outs.
Collecting and delivering stock and services in town.
Track assets and log required information.
Escalate issues for resolution.
Necessary and Specific Skills for the position:
A+ & N+ or equivalent
Must be punctual and reliable.
Must be neat and presentable.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal skills
Experience advantageous
Responsibilities:
Complete assigned tasks and keep system updated with progress.
Hardware - install, setup, configure & troubleshoot faults.
Software - install, setup, configure. Troubleshoot faults with provider.
Networking, repair, configure & troubleshoot.
Provide remote support via phone & remote connection.
Escalate unresolved or repeated tasks.
User training & assistance with boardroom connections.
Must be able to work flexi hours when required.
Product research and facilitating procurement.
Assist Sys Admin in various administration tasks.
Salary: Up to R15k (based on experience)
