IT Technician In Office, Kempton Park Qualifications: Matric MCITP or equivalent an advantage Requirements: 5 Years experience in an IT Support role Proficient in English and business communication skills Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft, Windows and Active Directory PC Support and Network Support Attributes and Competencies: Attention to detail Problem Solving and troubleshooting Clerical Skills Self-Motivation Time Management Asset Management KPA's: Software and system management. System Administration and Maintenance. User Support. Self-Management. Asset Tagging and Data Base Maintenance. Administer and analyse the asset system to ensure correct data and control. Manage data integrity. Analyse the company's IT needs, both immediate and long term, and prepare the necessary justification to change request for the relevant development of and/or changes. Promote accurate and timely response to inform request from operating and support departments. Required to work according to the company's Code of Good Practice and report any observation of this not being done. User calls and queries are attended to and resolved without any undue delay. Users are coached, guided and supported in resolving user-initiated errors to prevent or minimise recurrence of errors. Provide user support and training and development training material as and when required. Feedback is provided to Superior as stipulated. Position will entail travel away from home.
