VeriCred is a leading Debt Collection company with 12 branches countrywide and collects debts for major national corporate companies. Maintenance and support of current network and computer infrastructure; Makes hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and services; Act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment, software and data; Maintenance of workstations, printers and monitors Purchasing of computer hardware and software according to assessed; Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages; Installs, assembles and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware; pulls cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and office reconfiguration; Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, email, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required; Assessment and training of users; Providing telephone, face-to-face and online support to clients & branches; Undertaking housekeeping and reporting functions in area of responsibility; Any other function that is required or may become necessary in the normal course of the performance for this position; Comply with any further instructions or requirements of a reasonable nature that may be given by senior management from time to time; It should be noted that as duties and responsibilities change this job specification may be reviewed and amended from time to time; Create users on AD Basic Asterisk support Monitor and assist with helpnet requests Qualifications and requirements of the applicant include: A or N or other relevant ICT certificate; Linux and Asterisk knowledge would be an advantage; Provide remote support to branches in resolving problems with equipment, software and data; Maintenance and support of network and computer infrastructure; Hardware and software acquisition recommendations; Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software, Microsoft office and anti-virus protection; Extensive Server and mikrotik knowledge would be an advantage; Must have valid code 08 license and be willing to travel 4-5 years experience essential Personal Requirements: Good communication skills and client focused with a genuine desire to assist Able to build rapport with clients & branches Able to analyze and solve problems in a methodical and disciplined manner Good organization skills and persistence Discretion when dealing with confidential info Professional and ethical Patient and tolerant Technical Aptitude Salary Negotiable
