Reference: ITE006134-DEP-1 Are you a Java Developer looking for an exciting new opportunity? A well known Fintech organisation is looking for a Java developer to join their team. The goal is to significantly expand Africa's digital economy through the creation of top-tier Fintech solutions. Operating within a hybrid Agile framework, fostering frequent collaboration among multiple teams and stakeholders, including Product Managers, QA testers, DevOps, Architecture, and Agile Project Managers. Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into detailed implementation designs. Participate in estimation and planning sessions with the development team. Write, debug, and refactor code for both back-end and front-end development using specified technologies. Conduct thorough testing and documentation of developed code, including integration, unit, component, and user acceptance tests. Identify and resolve potential security risks and performance bottlenecks, while participating in developer meetings and conducting code reviews to ensure quality assurance. Education: Bachelor's degree (or similar) in IT or Sciences preferred. Skills: Minimum of 3-8 years' experience in professional software development. Proficiency in Java and familiarity with TypeScript, jQuery, Node.js, Vue.js. Knowledge of PCI Data Security Standard, Docker, Git, SQL, CSS, HTML, and Jira. Experience in Go, AWS cloud services (Lambdas/EC2/S3), and queuing technologies (RabbitMQ/AWS SQS) advantageous. Understanding of .NET or PHP beneficial. Broad understanding of coding, programming languages, and frameworks. Extensive knowledge of Microservices and Web API integration.
