Job Title: Audio-Visual Engineer/Technician (Intermediate Level) - South Africa

We uphold values of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement in everything we do.Position Overview:We are urgently seeking a suitable Audio-Visual Engineer or Technician to service a prominent hotel group in Durban, South Africa. This position plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional audio-visual solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.Key Requirements:- Matric certificate- Relevant certification, diploma, or degree in audio-visual systems or related field (preferred)- 1-3 years of experience in audio-visual systems support and troubleshooting- Valid driver's license- Own vehicle for site visits (preferred)- Availability to work weekends and afterhours as needed- Ability to lift and carry AV equipment when necessary- Willingness to travel and stay out of town when required- Experience in installing and configuring audio-visual equipment according to industry best practicesKey Responsibilities:- Responding to client calls and providing remote/telephonic support- Scheduling site visits within the client's Service Level Agreement (SLA)- Resolving issues within the client's SLA- Understanding and adhering to each client's SLA contract- Scheduling and completing preventative maintenance, including compiling comprehensive maintenance reports- Advanced fault-finding and troubleshooting, including comprehensive knowledge of wiring, cable termination, and best practice standards- Configuring video conferencing and audio-visual equipment- Proper preparation before attending to a site and liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues- Availability for overtime and standby duty- Completing training and engaging in sales prospecting when not onsite- General administration tasksJoin Us:If you're ready to join a dynamic team committed to delivering state-of-the-art AV solutions and making an impact across industries, Coastal AV Solutions is the place for you.
