Small publishing business involved in trade publishing, specifically in the plastics and composites industry sectors requires a Journalist. Role based in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. The role: Edit text (many of the stories published are supplied via the press departments of many of the international material and machinery manufacturers and industry organisations); Write articles and take photographs and conduct interviews with people in the industry, visit companies, attend industry events and trade shows and get involved in the sectors covered; Interact with advertisers and readers; Sell adverts; Update the website, design and send out emailers and manage the general process of internet marketing. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Journalism, Languages, or Media Studies. Experience working as a Journalist. Relevant computer skills. Passion for media. Valid driver’s license. Interested?
