JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT - South Africa
Join the growjng team at this Property Management and Development Group of Companies and add value with your excellent experience of Accounting to Monthly Management Accounts.Responsibility:Responsibilities: • Maintain and update the company's financial records and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including overseeing invoicing and collections. • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card statements. • Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payment of all taxes, ie EMP 201 and EMP 501. • Monthly Management Accounts including standard journal entries • Dealing with any foreign exchange transactions and the implications thereof on the accounts • Assist with developing and managing budgets and financial forecasts to aid business planning • Ensure the group is compliant with all relevant legislation • Address financial inquiries and provide support to management / owner as required. • Oversee the processing of VAT returns and ensure efficient e-filing (initially with support and review from the Auditors as required) • General Accounts administration and office management support Skills and Experience required: • Relevant Accounting qualification eg B Com / B Compt essential • Proven 3 to 5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping and Accounting • Proficiency in using advanced accounting software, Xero and Ms Excel essential and Dext or similar cloud-based software, advantageous • A keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy. • Exceptional organisational and time management skills. • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team. • Experience in the property or real estate industry is advantageous PLEASE EMAIL YOUR CV TO: rossmilers.co.zaSalary: R25-30000pm CTCJob Reference : R1766Consultant Name: Roslyn Schmidt
