Ensure that financial records are kept accurately and complete
Ensure that correct procedures are followed for completion of documents, submissions and payments are done efficiently
Process accounting transactions and ability to pull reports to ensure that all accounts are reconciled correctly on a monthly basis, including the following:
Assist with Bank Reconciliations and administration
Assist with Cashbook and credit card processing
Assist Journal entries and General Ledger maintenance
Sundry Creditor applications, reconciliations and payment preparation
Maintain good filing system and archiving at all times
Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounting environment
Computer Literate with Excel (intermediate level)
Knowledge of accounting will be a prerequisite
The ability to work under pressure
High attention to detail
Accurate, neat, meticulous and professional approach to record keeping, administrative tasks
Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports
Qualification:Matric
