Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join their team in George, Western Cape.

In this role, you will assist in the compilation of financial statements and other accounting tasks to support their clients. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with some accounting experience looking to advance their careers.

Responsibilities:

Compilation of Financial Statements for various clients
Tax Calculations for clients
E-filing submissions

Requirements:

B. Com degree or Hons in Financial Accounting
Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs
MS Office
Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
1-3 years previous work experience
Completed SAICA articles (Not a requirement but will be seen as an advantage)
Caseware or Draftworx experience (Not a requirement but will be seen as an advantage)
Deadline driven and ensure that the objectives are met
Self-motivated
Excellent communication with clients and colleagues
Team worker
Good interpersonal skills
Can work in high pressure environments
Dedicated and hard worker
Has attention for detail
