We're seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing creditors, assisting with cost accounting activities, and contributing to financial analysis. If you're detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges, we want to hear from you. Process invoices and reconcile statements from suppliers. Ensure timely payments to creditors and resolve any payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions. Assist in cost accounting activities, including tracking and analyzing costs related to production and operations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Contribute to the analysis of financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare month-end journal entries for month-end close off. Oversee petty cash reconciliations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Previous experience or internship in an accounting role is preferred. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Valid South African Drivers License.
