Junior Accounting Clerk, George - Western Cape Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Clerk to join their team. The primary focus of this role will be the accurate and efficient processing of multiple clients' books on a monthly basis. Key Responsibilities: Process multiple clients' books monthly up to Trial Balance. Utilize accounting software for cashbook entries, journal entries, etc. Handle VAT processing and submission of VAT Returns. Address client and SARS queries in a timely and professional manner. Calculate Income Tax and submit Income Tax Returns. Assist in the calculation and submission of Provisional Tax Returns. Assist in the drafting of Annual Financial Statements. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (completed or currently in progress). Proficiency in accounting software Strong understanding of VAT processing, Income Tax calculation and other related tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
