To perform quality control functions for a Phamarceutical Company KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Perform analytical procedures (final product samples / in-process samples / raw materials): Validate method Prep of standard solutions and testing reagents Analysis Recordkeeping of data Reporting Retention of samples Turnaround time Accuracy of analytical results Compliance to GMP Compliance to QMS Compliance to testing method specification Quality reporting Timely reporting of deviations and Out Of Specifications External audits - no major findings or incidents Prepare testing specifications Accuracy - Correctness of information Prepare product specifications Accuracy - Correctness of information Verifications and calibration of laboratory instruments (HPLC / GC) Timeous (according to schedule) Log sheet maintained Housekeeping (label standards, safety, waste management and disposal, work areas, glass ware, consumables) Compliance Sample management - sample control of all samples submitted Compliance MANAGEMENT KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS OPERATIONAL PLANNING – follow schedules, prioritizing, targets. Demonstrated high levels of energy and motivation QUALIFICATION / EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION Analytical Chemistry Diploma or Applicable B Tech or related qualification EXPERIENCE At least 2 years of experience as analyst in a Pharmaceutical laboratory or Food & Bereverage industry experience FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Analytical problem solving Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Basic knowledge of statistical method in analytical chemistry. Proficient in Excel – data manipulation and interrogation Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and in a timely fashion.
