Centurion/ Tshwane Area – Gauteng: Our client is looking for a Junior Assistant Foreman to join the team. Due to accommodation on the farm the position will be best suited to a single person or couple with no kids. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric certificate Agricultural experience or diploma advantageous Previous vegetable farming/ greenhouse experience advantageous Must be self-disciplined / reliable / hands on / independent / initiative taking / trustworthy Ability to work with and manage staff, teamwork Must be willing to work on weekends & public holidays Maintenance orientated Valid South African drivers license RESPONSIBILITIES To work under the supervision and guidance of the owner and assist with the daily duties of running the business: Day to day management of vegetable farms – green houses Crop management / Staff management / Fertilizer & Irrigation control / Pests and diseases control Crop harvesting control / Pack house supervision and assistance Deliveries General farm maintenance and upkeep Storeroom control ONLY short listed candidates will be contacted Apply Now
