This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the financial success of a thriving organization.Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role, preferably in the FMCG or distribution sector. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets. Familiarity with Palladium Accounting Software or similar ERP systems would be highly advantageous. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Provide support to the finance team in ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
