Comm in Bookkeeping / Accounting / Financial Management Minimum of 3 years' Bookkeeper working experience at Management level Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Proficient on Pastel & XERO packages Proficient on all MS Office packages with advanced Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP's) Working experience on SARS E-filing (EMP201, EMP501 & VAT201) Must be accurate and detail orientated Must be able to work well within a team Must be available immediately (advantageous) Driver's license (no endorsements) Own reliable vehicle or arranged transport Submit your CV in MS Word & supporting documents to zurikadivergentrecruit.co.za Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills Exceptional communication and reporting skills (written & verbal) Good organisational skills Proficient on Pastel & XERO (recent packages) Must be proficient is MS Packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Meeting of deadlines Sense of urgency Ability to work under pressure Situation analysis and problem solving Accuracy, punctual and attention to detail BEHAVIOURAL DIMENSIONS REQUIRED: High regard for efficiency and service delivery Ability to work effectively under pressure Ability to prioritize and manage tasks Deadline orientated and a good eye for detail and ability to multitask Good planning and organizational skills Professional and deadline driven Selfmotivated, organized, and disciplined work ethics BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: Main duties & Job Function: The Junior Bookkeeper will be reporting to the Financial Officer Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities: - Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Process and update Cash books Bank Recons Process and reconcile Petty cash Debtors' invoices, credit notes, recons, and monthly statements Creditors invoices, credit notes, recons, and preparing monthly payments Processing of month-end journals and statistics Prepare and balance inter-company loan account and invoice recharges Preparing of month-end reconciliations for all Balance Sheet General Ledger accounts Preparation of Audit files and liaison with external auditors Assist in ad-hoc Finance projects Effective governance and risk management Any other function required by direct line manager MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Matric National Diploma or B. Comm in Bookkeeping / Accounting / Financial Management Minimum of 3 years' Bookkeeper working experience at Management level Bookkeeping to Trial Balance Proficient on Pastel & XERO packages Proficient on all MS Office packages with advanced Excel (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP's) Working experience on SARS E-filing (EMP201, EMP501 & VAT201) Must be accurate and detail orientated Must be able to work well within a team Must be available immediately (advantageous) Driver's license (no endorsements) Own reliable vehicle or arranged transport SALARY ON OFFER: R15 000.00 TO R18 000.00 per month Position is based in Humansdorp, Eastern Cape Province.
