A well-established organisation in Pretoria - East is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team in Pretoria - East. Salary will be discussed in the interview. Financial Transactions Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Verify and reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any issues. Accounts Payable and Receivable Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Ensure timely payments to suppliers and follow up on customer payments. Bank Reconciliation Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Payroll Processing Process employee payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of employee earnings and deductions. Tax Compliance Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws affecting the company. Financial Reporting Prepare and generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Provide insights into financial trends and forecasts. Record Maintenance Organize and maintain financial records and documentation. Ensure records are up-to-date and accessible for audits. Budgeting Support Collaborate with management in budget preparation and monitoring. Provide financial information to assist in decision- making. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and communication skills. salary will be discussed
