Junior Cost Accountant - Johannesburg
Qualifications:
- Completed B. Com degree in accounting.
- Completed SAIPA articles.
- Syspro
- 3 years in a similar role
- Providing advice on cost accounting matters to key stakeholders
- Plans, coordinates uploads and scrutinises the working cost budget and forecast inputs aligned to scope requirements, management directives and group guidance.
- Analyses and provides commentary on variances between forecast, actual & budget and makes recommendations to management where necessary.
- Reviews final commercial cost close-out and submits accurate billing requirements timeously.
- Maintains the projects system for the unit whilst ensuring appropriate budget control measures are adhered to
- Ensures that adequate governance and system-related controls exist that will allow for the preparation of valid & complete budget and forecast submission
