Junior Design Engineer – Durban - South Africa
About the role: The Junior Engineer/Junior Designer is expected to deliver innovative structural projects and manufacturing details of projects under the supervision of a Senior. Key Performance Responsibilities: Responsible for engineering Integrity, and measurement and maximum focus on item/product delivery, with guidance. Critical Decision making Understand the process flow of Production in order to mitigate incorrect decisions Understand the holistic product development life cycle from Studio to Production to assist in the decision making process Planning & Organising Ensure on time delivery for Engineering part of the product development Ensure time is managed well to mitigate any delays in Engineering part of the product development Technical Engineering Create 3D models and drawing packs for manufacturing purposes. Adhoc Any other reasonable request from management including particular projects as and when needed. Minimum experience/requirements & Skills: BSC Degree – Engineering or related. 3D CAD Creo advantageous Minimum qualifications:
