We are recruiting for an experienced Draughtsman to join our dynamic team in Honeydew, Johannesburg. Summary of Job Produce technical drawings for various projects during manufacturing process Work closely with management and other professionals to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and standards Drafting and Design; Create detailed technical drawings based on specifications provided by the client; Create detailed Bills of Materials for Assembly designs Project documentation, and job card creation; Quality control, review and check for accuracy, completeness and adherence to project requirement; Technical support and guidance to other team members; Ensure that drawings are done in accordance with ISO standards; Must be able to use engineering measuring equipment; Must be able to read engineering drawings; Must be able to do reverse engineering; Experience in sheet metal; Experience in nesting; Understand K-factors; Mechanical Draftsman Certificate or N4 from a recognized organization SolidWorks Qualifications Min 5 years experience in Sheet metal industry Other requirements: MS Excel Advanced computer literacy Excellent Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drawings Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management Strong Problem solving skills to address design challenges and make necessary adjustments Decision making Responsible and being accountable Liaising with production floor on technical aspects Market Related
