Junior Graphic Designer - Western Cape A dynamic, vibrant and growing cosmetics business is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join their Member Relations team in Bellville, Cape Town. The main role of the Junior Graphic Designer is to support the Member Relations Department initiatives by working closely with the team to create and develop engaging and visually compelling content and designs that effectively communicates with members and enhances their overall experience. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Produce high-quality social media graphics, newsletters, promotional materials, event collateral, and presentations that effectively communicate messages and resonate with the target audience. Ensure consistent implementation of the company's brand guidelines across all design materials to maintain brand identity, integrity, and recognition among Members. Contribute innovative ideas and insights based on current design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve skills and creative inspiration. Collaborate with team members to gain insights into project needs, target audience preferences, and messaging goals. Engage in effective communication and collaboration with other departments or stakeholders to ensure alignment on design objectives and project deliverables. Align design concepts and executions with the department's objectives and strategies to support member engagement and satisfaction. Actively seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine design concepts and improve the overall quality of designs/deliverables. Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, proactive issue identification, and adaptive flexibility to meet evolving project needs and achieve optimal design outcomes. Prioritise tasks and responsibilities to meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery of design materials. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and time management to balance workload and maintain productivity without compromising quality. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design strongly preferred. Experience in an internship or entry-level graphic design role. Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping) Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts) Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign etc. Skills & Competencies: Leadership Skills Level 1 - Leader of Self: Personal discipline – planning, prioritising, delivering on time.
