Reference: NES018037-CM-1My client is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Industrial Engineer to join their team and support our operations in the mining industry. As a key member of our organization, you will be involved in documenting and optimizing the entire process of our OEM company, from design to production and beyond. Responsibilities include: Process Documentation: Documenting the entire process flow of product development, manufacturing, and distribution within the OEM company. Creating detailed process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions for various departments and functions. Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyzing current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Proposing and implementing solutions to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and increase productivity. Conducting time and motion studies to optimize resource allocation and minimize cycle times. Quality Control and Assurance: Collaborating with quality assurance teams to develop and implement quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process. Monitoring and analyzing product quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Supply Chain Management: Assisting in the management of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Optimizing inventory levels and lead times to ensure timely delivery of components and materials. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all aspects of operations. Participating in safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, procurement, and logistics, to achieve organizational goals. Supporting and contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Knowledge of industrial engineering principles, methodologies, and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and process mapping software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills. Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
