-As a Junior Internal Auditor at SAVF, you play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's financial integrity and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities include conducting audits to assess compliance with regulations and internal policies, identifying potential risks, and recommending improvements to processes and controls. This position allows you to contribute to maintaining transparency and accountability within SAVF, ultimately supporting its mission and fostering trust among stakeholders. - MISSION As a national welfare organisation to render social services to individuals and families within the community in order to empower them to improve quality of life. - VISION SAVF is a carrier of hope for people with social need - Conduct internal inspections to test for compliance and to identify and mitigate risk. - Quantify fraud, theft and maladministration - Compile remedial action plans to improve internal control function. - Write Internal Audit report and discuss with stakeholders. - Present findings to Internal Audit Committee. - Review existing policies and procedures and recommend changes based on findings. - Undertake Ad-hoc tasks,research and copilation of - Internal controller, Financial Management or equivalent qualification - 1 to 2 years of experience in Internal Audit or internal control inspection. - Proven record of risk management and control function. - Proven ability to explain audit findings verbally and in writing in Afrikaans and English. - Computer literate in MS Office (Word and Excel) - Knowledge of computerised accounting systems. - Code 08 licence (75% out of town) - Proven ability to work in diverse teams. - Experience in disciplinary processes advantageous. - Provident fund - Service bonus
