EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Undergraduate degree in a business or finance-related field An undergraduate degree in any engineering field will also be considered EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2 years in a corporate finance or private equity environment Must have extensive experience with project finance modelling and analysis RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you would be responsible for building financial models to assess new investment opportunities and maintaining these models to monitor investment performance. You would also prepare presentations for Investment Committee meetings, as well as the minutes and follow-up documents. Additionally, you would assist in creating pitch decks for fundraising efforts and manage reporting to senior lenders. Working closely with the deal team, you would review and execute legal agreements, implement new deals, and negotiate project documents with legal counsel and contractors. Other responsibilities include preparing quarterly reports for investors, ensuring compliance with regulations with the help of an external compliance officer, managing insurance requirements, invoicing, and account management. You would also oversee the annual BEE certification process, work with accountants and auditors for monthly management accounts and annual audits, and manage updates to the website and marketing initiatives, such as press releases for closed deals.
