Reference: SW004800-JM-1 My client, a well-established fruit exported based in Paarl is seeking to employ a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior IT Technician Intern . The ideal candidate will be enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant IT Certificate and have basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts. A degree / Diploma (Computer Science, Information Technology) will count in your favour. Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in the dynamic world of IT? Responsibilities: Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Ensuring electrical safety standards are met. Repairing or replacing damaged hardware. Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers. Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level. Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware. Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting. Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues. Managing technical documentation. Requirements: Enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant IT Certificate A degree / Diploma (Computer Science, Information Technology) will count in your favour Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Eagerness to contribute and make an impact.
