Responsible to assist senior Rebuild Centre managers with the daily management of the rebuild department. Key responsibilities are stipulated below, but are not limited to only the below. Proficiency in using a wide range of tools and equipment for truck repair. Spray painting and panel beating skills for custom modifications and repairs. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for the team. Leadership skills to assist the senior management to support the team in the rebuild department. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs for each piece of equipment. Quality control on all repairs. Effective communication skills to interact with staff, and senior management. Efficiently manage time and resources to meet repair deadlines and prevent truck downtime. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy parts and equipment. Willingness to work extended hours. Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues quickly and efficiently. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing the rebuild department. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing effective strategies to enhance the overall efficiency of the rebuild department. Demonstrate high levels or quality, focus and attention to detail. Consist ability to manage multiple task and prioritize workload. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must have a valid drivers license Sober habits Bilingual (English & Afrikaans). National matric certificate (Grade 12). Previous experience in a management role in the same or similar field would be an advantage. Mechanical background in truck industry would be advantageous.
