Responsibilities:- Design and optimise chemical processes for the conversion of winery waste into premium natural products.
- Conduct experiments and trials to improve process efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, production, and quality assurance, to achieve project objectives.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols for chemical processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new process implementations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to chemical engineering and waste management.
- Assist in scaling up processes from lab-scale to production-scale.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical / Process Engineering.
Experience:- Work experience in chemical process design, optimisation, and scale-up will be beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and unit operations.
- Appropriate experience with PLC and SCADA programming will be an advantage.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry will be advantageous.
