Job Title: Junior Product Developer Location: Benoni, South Africa Industry: Food Manufacturing RPO Recruitment's client, in the food manufacturing industry, are seeking a passionate and innovative Junior Product Developer to join their team in Benoni. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food manufacturing and product development, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Work closely with the senior product development team to assist in developing new food products from concept to launch Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products Assist in creating and testing new recipes and formulations Participate in sensory evaluations and product testing to ensure quality and consistency Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and quality assurance, to bring products to market Assist in managing product testing and validation processes Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations in food manufacturing Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or related field Previous experience in a food manufacturing or product development role is preferred but not required Strong passion for food and creativity in developing new products Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and take on new challenges RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
