Exciting opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a well-established Construction Company in the Built environment. JOB SUMMARY The successful applicant will fulfill all the necessary requirements with regards to the operational activities and will manage nominated main contractor building contracts directly. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:- BTech in Quantity Surveying (NQF 7) or equivalent. At least 1 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar Built environment. Must be proficient on Candy (CCS – Construction Computer Software). Prepared to travel to project locations. Valid Driver’s License and own transport. JOB DESCRIPTION The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:- The successful applicant will be the custodian of the project budget and manage all costs relating to the specified construction projects. As the Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of the project, preparing estimates and cost reports whilst tracking any variations and movements in turnover/profit.
