Responsibilities

Estimating Costs: Collaborate with senior Quantity Surveyors to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Materials Estimation: Analyze architectural plans and determine the quantity and costs of materials required.
Contract Management: Assist in negotiating and analyzing contracts related to construction work.
Project Cost Tracking: Monitor changes in plans or construction progress, updating budgets accordingly.
Document Preparation: Prepare contracts, documents, and progress reports.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure that construction work adheres to legal requirements and safety regulations.
Budget Management: Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials.
Liaison: Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of construction costs and contracts.
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagements.
Detail-oriented and deeply organized.
