Description Position : Junior Research Analyst Location : Remote (Preferred candidates based in Western Cape, South Africa) Salary offered : R20,000 to R25,000 depending on experience. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Research Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a keen interest in technology. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 0-2 years of experience to grow and develop their career in a supportive and challenging environment. Key Responsibilities: Support senior partners and covering analysts with daily tasks. Perform financial modelling, valuation, and analysis. Write detailed research reports and assist with forecasting projects. Identify and analyze data points that contribute to the team's research coverage. Prepare presentations and reports using MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Qualifications: A high-class degree from a renowned university in Finance, Investments, Economics, or a related field. Strong understanding of financial modelling, valuation, and analysis. Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with a disciplined work ethic and a demonstrated hunger for success. Preferred Qualifications: Based in the Western Cape, with the ability to travel to Cape Town for team meetings. Demonstrated ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
