Our client a local distributor of fluid control products (butterfly valves, plunger valves, hydrant, knife gate valves and ball valves) is looking for a technically minded trader to assist customers with their selections and offer technical advice. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Interact daily with Customers telephonically. Build and maintain relationships with customers. Assist Customers with their selections. Process and follow up on orders. Offer technical advice and assist customers with their selections. Increase market awareness. Achieve sales targets. QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 / equivalent EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: One years' experience selling industrial valves (Butterfly Valve, Plunger Valve, Hydrant, Knife Gate Valves & Ball Valves, Control Valves, Air Valves, House Connection Valves and Fittings) Computer literate: MS Excel and Pastel. Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Able to close deals. Meet and exceed sales targets. Technically minded. Good telephone and communication skills. Reliable transport. A stable work record and have contactable references. Of sober habits.
