Junior Sales Support Administrator - Cape Town City Centre

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Sales Support Administrator to support our Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, providing administrative assistance, and ensuring smooth operations within the Sales department. This role involves using Microsoft 365 system and Xero Accounting, handling lead processes, and managing various administrative tasks to facilitate the efficiency of the Sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management/Administration:

Assist the Sales team with replying to sales emails, quoting, and loading and assigning leads.

Manage and update customer information in the CRM system.

Sales Team Support:

Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Sales team.

Assist with setting up appointments for the Sales team through lead processes and other methods.

Communication Management:

Handle all incoming calls from reception, forward them to the necessary team member, and take messages to forward to the relevant team member.

Reporting:

Generate and consolidate various reports for the Sales team.

Monitor in-house systems for leads and generate leads for the Sales team.

Documentation:

Assist with completing vendor and tender documents.

Follow up with clients on outstanding documentation and ensure timely submission.

Travel Arrangements:

Make travel arrangements for the Sales team, including booking flights, car hire, and accommodation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a Sales or Customer Service environment.

Experience in using software applications like Xero (training will be provided if necessary).

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Sales/IT industry is advantageous.

Knowledge of vendor and tender documentation processes.
