JUNIOR SOUS CHEF – FIVE-STAR PROPERTY (Paarl) Our client, a 5 Property, situated in Paarl, is looking to employ a JUNIOR SOUS CHEF to join their team. The ideal individual for the JUNIOR SOUS CHEF position is someone with a strong operational and culinary skill set, with a love for food, passionate about staff development, previous experience in running and managing a diverse and busy kitchen operation, quality driven, a leader, stable and able to perform under pressure. A formal Culinary education and own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence will be beneficial. In the JUNIOR SOUS CHEF role you would be expected to assist with managing and directing the kitchen operations, continued staff development, management of strict stock controls and stock movement, waste control, ordering and supplier liaison, ensuring the team has high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety protocols.
