Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Technical Systems Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HPE Server and storage technologies, including HPE OneView and Service Packs for ProLiant, HPE Synergy and Exagrid. Additional expertise in Veeam, VMware, and Hyper-V is highly desirable. This role requires the ability to provide standby support and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

HPE Server & Storage Management:
- Manage, configure, and maintain HPE servers and storage systems.
- Utilize HPE OneView for system monitoring and management.
- Apply Service Packs for ProLiant (SPP) and ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest firmware and patches.
- Administer HPE Synergy composable infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
ExaGrid Management:
- Configure and maintain ExaGrid backup storage systems.
- Ensure data deduplication processes are efficient and effective.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues related to ExaGrid.
Virtualization:
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VMware and Hyper-V environments.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on virtual machines and hypervisors.
Backup & Recovery:
- Implement and manage backup solutions using Veeam.
- Ensure data integrity and perform regular backup tests and recovery procedures.
System Monitoring & Support:
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Provide standby support and respond to after-hours incidents as needed.
- Document and escalate issues to senior administrators when necessary.
User Support:
- Provide technical support to customers, resolving hardware and software issues.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not required).
Certifications:
- HPE Server and Storage certifications (e.g., HPE ATP, ASE).
- Certifications in VMware (e.g., VCP) and Microsoft Hyper-V (e.g., MCSA) are a plus.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with HPE OneView, Service Packs for ProLiant and HPE Synergy.
- Practical knowledge of Veeam, VMware, and Hyper-V environments.
